Easy To Install

Designed with convenience in mind, Homepride Stair Rods are simple to install, even for DIYers:

• The brackets come pre-attached to the decorative finials, saving you time and effort.
• The rods can be easily cut to size using a standard hacksaw to ensure a perfect fit.
• Each rod includes a pair of matching brackets and screws, so you have everything you need for installation. They also have a generous bracket clearance of 14mm, meaning they can effortlessly accommodate underlay and carpet.

💡 Please note: These stair rods are purely decorative and do not secure your carpet. Your stair runner should be fitted using an alternative method, such as gripper rods.

Installation Method

Installing the Homepride stair rod is extremely simple:

1. Always drill a pilot hole before fixing the brackets to your stairs. For softwood, create a 2.5mm pilot hole, and for hardwood, create a 3mm hole. The screws supplied are No.6 size (3.5mm).
2. Position one bracket and secure it to the tread (flat part of step) and riser (vertical part of step). If using a power drill, use a low torque setting to avoid breaking the screws.
3. If required, cut the rod to size using a standard hacksaw and place it securely in the first bracket.
4. Once in place, fit the second bracket to the other end of the rod.

Simple Cleaning & Maintenance

The Homepride stair rod is easy to maintain and should be cleaned using a damp cloth only. Traditional household cleaners should be kept away from the rod to avoid tarnishing or speckling the lacquered finish.

Our stair rods are a special order item sent directly from the manufacturer. Therefore, they have a 3-4 working day dispatch time. Orders are delivered using a next-working-day service.
